If a trial is offered, its length and the price that follows are shown on the Google Play purchase screen before you confirm. Google handles the charge and the switch to a paid subscription.
To avoid being charged the recurring price, cancel in Google Play at least 24 hours before the trial ends (see How to cancel your subscription).
